Thank You, Yesterday..

Yesterday was one of the most exhausting day of my life. Around 2.30pm like that, I went and play futsal with some of my buddy at Carrefour Sri Petaling. This is the first time I ever get on the court since four months ago during that period which I’m working. For the first half an hour if the game, I made quite a lot of runs just to adjust myself back to some active physical activities. After that lethargic starts to kick in. I can barely moves my legs let alone making tackles and stuff. I had to take a break for around 10 minutes just to refresh myself thinking that I’ll be ok after that. I got back onto the court and 10 minutes later I have to take a break again. Seriously, after such a long time working without having some time to exercise, you could feel your stamina had dropped like mad

Well, thats not the worst thing as I thoroughly enjoy the game. Earlier, my buddy, Jun Hao had ask me to follow him around shopping for hair wax and some biscuits( which I thought he was ask by his mum) So after we have our some-sort-of-lunch at Mcdonalds and foolishly practising the Bic Mac Chant, I, Jun Hao, Yee Hoo and Jason Doss (sorry I have to put your name that way Jason) went around the shopping mall hunting for Jun Hao’s wax. Along the way, I found out the pack of biscuits he was looking for is called Hello Panda. What annoys me a little bit is that he is buying it to repay back the debt he owes to a girl friend (look properly, I SPACE it between the words ‘girl’ and ‘friend’) for lending him a big hand in finishing up a project. We couldn’t find the chocolate flavour of the Hello Panda biscuits at that shopping mall and Jun Hao suggested we head down to Careffour Maluri or Jaya Jusco to get it. OK, so I thought we’ll be taking the LRT from Bukit Jalil to Maluri. Jun Hao told me that from Chan Sow Lin to Careffour Maluri takes a shorter distance than from LRT Maluri station. To this I will tell Jun Hao… MY FOOT!!!! Not only it is further, you make me cross the damn road like a hippies!!!! Bloody hell. When we reach Carrefour Maluri, we could not find the flavour of the biscuit too. Again, Mr Koh suggested we head to Jaya Jusco now and damn it, he makes us take a longer distance when we could have taken a shorter path ( I’ll take the blame here a little bit for not insisting to use the way which I felt would ease the pain on my feet right now). Guess what, when we reach JJ, we could not find that biscuits either. Yee Hoo was already grumbling like mad but I’m not that angry yet since I thought I could drop by at PDI to grab my payslip as some sort of a consolation after such a tumultuous journey. The anger starts to kick in when my ex-supervisor told me he mistakenly gave my payslip to another of my ex-colleagues!!!! Shit, that’s PNC and you gave it to someone else!!!! That sums up my journey yesterday and led me to make such a conclusions

1. Jun Hao has no sense of distance and direction (bite me, Jun Hao..haha)
2. Try not to look for a girlfriend who likes Hello Panda biscuit since it is so difficult to get it
3. It’s double comfirm that my ex-supervisor is a brainless, lack of responsibility gay shit

So what do I wanna say more.. Thank you Yesterday for such a memorable journey…

P/S: Jason actually did not follow us all the way down to Maluri. He drops of at Tasik Selatan which is where he stays. And I know that some of you might be slightly offended by what I comment on the 11th hour and Iron Man… I said…..I don’t care… XD

I actually did not have much interest of this documentary since I expected it to be like Al Gore’s version (heck, I haven’t even watch Gore’s documentary). If not for my friends who out of nowhere ask me to tag along for a free screening, I don’t think I will ever watch it in my lifetime. Is not that I have no concern for the environment because I believe National Geographics could do it better and I do watch those documentaries about our environment made by them. Ok, back to business, I actually think The 11th Hour fell a bit short in delivering the message of ” We must save the world before its too late!” I actually think most documentaries like The 11th Hour like to beat around the bush when they try to tell us to save the polar bears, orang utan etc. I bet if God drop by and ask us to choose between saving ourselves or the animals, most of us will choose to save our ass first. Let’s make it simple, why not just tell the people ” Hey, you are going to die soon if you don’t act. If you do something, not only you save yourself, your family, your company, your money etc, you can saves the animal kingdom and the environment too.  Take that as an incentive if you like but that’s the truth. Save yourself first!!!”. It might sound selfish that we think of ourselves first but hey like I said, if we act, we’ll get the incentive. That easy. There’s few good idea being suggested from this documentary such as making the buildings we live in, work in to function like a tree. Absorb carbondioxide, release oxygen, trap water to prevent flashflood. I actually think its possible. We try to mimic the environment!! The 11th hour too mention about how the economy had put great pressure on politics hence most of the government in this world would not pass legislation or law to protect the environment and cripple the corporate world. Let’s face this, if the economy could force it upon politics, why environment can’t do it if you know how to do it. What the corporate world want is to make money, money and more money!! Example, if anyone can show Exxonmobil that they can make more money by investing on the production of renewable energy rather than on petroleum and coal, POOF!!! Half of the world is save!!!! It is knowing the right way to convince them, thats all.

Pros: Some excellent idea and points, Leonardo(for girls)

Cons: Maybe it should be more scary..XD

During a business trip to Afghanistan to demonstrate his company’s new weapon system, Tony Stark (Downey Jr) is attacked and kidnapped by a terrorist group called the Ten Rings that order him to build them a version of Stark Industries’ “Jericho Missile”, an extremely destructive, multi-warhead weapon. Instead, over the next three months with the aid of a fellow captive, Dr. Yinsen (Shaun Toub), he builds a crude but very strong power armor, powered from a miniature arc reactor Stark and Yinsen built to power an electromagnet “pacemaker”, which protects Stark’s heart from the embedded shrapnel in his chest. Dr. Yinsen is killed in the ensuing escape attempt when he stalls the guards to buy Stark enough time to charge the suit. Killing several terrorists and destroying their stockpile, Stark is able to get away, and is later picked up by the Air Force. Upon returning to the United States, Stark declares that Stark Industries will no longer manufacture weapons, a move which his business partner Obadiah Stane (Bridges) tells him is blocked by the board members shortly after.

During his self-imposed sabbatical from public life, Stark tinkers with the design of his power suit, refining it to be capable of flight, and builds a more powerful and reliable arc reactor, both to power his pacemaker and the suit. During his first public appearance since his kidnapping, he is shown pictures of Stark Industries weapons in the hands of terrorist groups, including the system he refused to build for them. He also discovers that Stane has been “dealing under the table” to both sides in the conflict, as well as being the one to shut Stark out of the board while he recovers. Faced with the realization of what his company has done, Stark dons the power suit and flies to Afghanistan, rescuing a village from terrorists and destroying their weapon stockpiles, accidentally drawing the attention of the United States Air Force and his friend Jim Rhodes (Howard).

Determined to make amends for his mistakes, Stark sends his assistant Pepper Potts (Paltrow) to find the shipping records of Stark Industries, so he can track down the illicit shipments and destroy them. While hacking into the system she discovers that it was Stane who hired the Ten Rings to kill Stark, but they had reneged on the deal when they realized who the target was. She also discovers that Stane has recovered the power suit prototype (Iron Man Mk I,) and has reverse engineered his own version, but not before Stane has stolen Stark’s arc reactor right out of his chest to power it, leaving Stark for dead. Using his first reactor, which was not designed to power the suit, Stark does battle with Stane in Los Angeles, defeating him when the larger arc reactor that powers Stark Industries is deliberately overloaded. Stark barely makes it out alive when his reactor almost fails completely, but reactivates.

Review

I remember reading a review from MSN Movie about this movie that said had Iron Man been released years earlier, they’ll be a mega blockbuster (sort of, can’t remember the exact word). I had to agree with it as Iron Man fails to wow their audience (well, to be exact me) completely. If it had been release earlier, let say,the same period the first Spiderman movie did, I would have give them two thumbs up. For me, the first Spiderman wasn’t that good either but since the audience that time haven’t seen Spiderman look so cool before, they all raves about it. Back to Iron Man, the beginning of the story starts out pretty smoothly and the moment Stark got himself freed, the storyline seems to be a bit too rushing at some point and sluggish sometimes. Plus, the storyline seems strangely familiar but I can’t think of the name of that movie they reminicense right now. In terms of acting, Robert Downey Jr is the only one worth mentioning and the rest especially Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper did not raise the bar to match Downey’s excellent performance. Had some other guy was ask by Favreau to don the iron suit, the movie will certainly fall flat. In terms of CGI, its quite good but still miles away from Transformers (I know some people might not agree with it). The action scene was not that impressive too. They are certain comedic scene from the movie that could give you some hearty laugh but overall it felt a bit short from what I expected. I bet the sequel of Iron Man would be better.

Second Day Of Adventure, Life After PDI..

I am a bit of bored right now. There’s nothing much to do since I quit my job few days back. Right now I’m all alone at home (my mum went jalan-jalan, my elder bro went to work, my second bro enjoying at Penang) so you people could guess how bad is my situation now. Earlier on, I went digging for old movies to rewatch just to past some time and guess what I’ve found? Jurassic Park 3!!! Hey, actually that movie is quite enjoyable if you are not one of those movie critics who just like to criticize, criticize and criticize about movie like that. Right after I finished the movie, I went and do something which I had never done before… I google those people that I hold dear before.. You know just wanna know how are they doing now or do they have a blog or do they hold a deadly secret..0.0.. haha.. Found nothing much.. They are still the smae person I thought they were.. Nothing changes.. Then I came across my secondary school website and I got something to complain about. WHY THE HELL THE PREFECTORIAL BOARD HAD A FULL PAGE DEDICATED TO THEM AND NOT MY LIBRARIAN BOARD!!!!.. ok not my board anymore but yeah, where is it? Double standard, perhaps? Don’t wanna dwell on it to much.. Since I’m half emo right now.. I want you people to join in emo too with this song…. Empty by Click Five

How do you wanna die?

Wakaka! You people might think i’m crazy for writting 3 post on a day for my newly born blog.  Sorry, can’t really help it. I had just browse through some of my friends blogs (Ken and Yoegeetha). Both of their blogs.. Seriously, if u mesh them up together you can make super emotional film that even beats ‘Atonement’. Haha, sorry for the slight insult, Ken and Yoe. You know me.. Right now, I’m having a conversation wif Allieff. I’m telling him that I wanted to start making money right now. Then he says why now? Its like you’re only 18 and still a student. I told him lots of people of the same age had already become a millionare. Then he ask me is it really that important to become like a super rich person. I told him that not necessary to become rich, but to do something great so that everyone remembers me. I remember watching this film called ‘Troy’ (super cool fighting scene!!). The main character, Achilles wasn’t sure whether he should participate in the battle against the Trojans. His mother told him that she knows that if Achilles did not join the battle, he’ll lives happily ever after( things like that) but he would not be remembered by people in a thousand years to come. If he did go to the war, peopla we’ll always remember him as the greatest warrior of all time. Well, he did went to fight the Trojans and indeed die during the war but he is well remembered till now(that’s why the film is made anyway). So the question is, how much are u willing to sacrifice to die famous or just die as a normal person and forgotten long after that?

No ads, no money

Just when I thought i could earn some money through this blog, I found out that wordpress won’t allow anyone to put up ads inside their blog under wordpress if you are using the free version (I think those who are reading this, especially my closed friends will be saying ” Haha, serve you right.. trying to make money out of us”). Damn, that is so disappointing T.T.. Anyway, I’m not going to give up on this blog. I will still blog on it with ads or no ads and I will look for another alternatives to make money XD.. Haha, yes I admit I’m addicted to money but wait a second… don’t tell me you don’t like them either… so we’re all the same. MONEY literally MEANT EVERYTHING!!!

I still don’t have a clue on the theme of the website so I just leave it blank for now. Will let you guys and gals see it one day.

The next posting that I’ll probably post my own  review on ‘Ironman’. I’ll be watching maybe in the next few days. I hope I won’t be disappointed by it. Whet your appetite with its trailer first then….

 OK, this is already my fourth attempt to post this, I have gone through a lot of problems just to post this together with the video below… (taking a deep breath) Well, this is not my first blog actually.. I had started one not so long ago but decided to dump it aside since I’m not free during that period ( SPM -.-” ). Now that I have lots of free time to spare, I can write as much as possible. 

I’ll update you people from time to time about things that revolves around my life. I’ll be making some reviewsand previews too on movies, books, musics, software, football (or soccer)and etc. So, do drop by every once in awhile to check out for new posting and news.. XD..
